Land-use Review of the Aboriginal Reserve Land and the Management Strategy of the Tataka Recreation Areas
This project involving a wide range of subject including land-use of indigenous reservation land, and zoning area review. In order to discuss each problem of current planning execution ,and performance and management, we propose to take the planning assessment work in this project. It could be a pre-research for the later 4th periodical overall review of Yushan National Park. Tongpu Bunun Community is the only indigenous community in Yushan National Park, and it preserve many indigenous culture. The goal of this porject in Tongpu Bunun Community is to preserve the feature of traditional indigenous community, solve the shortage problem of living space, and meet the demand of integrated development and ecological conservation in National Park. In order to achieve these goals, we had provided new land-use plan in this project by analyzing the guiding plan and policy, the law and regulations, and reviewing current regulations. In Tataka Recreation Areas, there are several problems including increasing tourists, the change of recreation mode, government financial difficulty, and financial independence of National Park. In order to deal with these problems, this project reviewed the integrated performance and management strategy. Finally, a suitable program of performance and management had provided by investigating environmental characteristics, range of tourist activities, and demands of performance and management.
