Fuci Tree is located at the 141.2 K spot of New Central Cross-island Highway, Provincial Highway 21, and the elevation is at about 2,478 meters. The two dead standing Taiwan red cypress trees experienced forest fires back in the day, and the name was derived for the look of a couple accompanying each other. Due to the decay of the foundation and heavy rain, one of the trees fell on June 30, 2017. The remaining tree is currently left at the site. The surging sea of clouds can be viewed at sunset here.
◎Parking lot available.
◎The spot has frequent falling rocks due to geological fragmentation. Visitors must stay alert at all times.
