Paiyun Mountaineering Center mainly serves those who wish to climb Mt. Jade Hiking Route. Climbers will need to apply for climbing permits in advance. Before the departure, they have to prepare all required documentations and gears and complete the reporting procedures to the center. These precautionary measures are taken to prevent possible mountain climbing accidents of those who climb without permission.

Paiyun Mountaineering Center has an audio-visual room that plays"Trips to Yushan" and other Yushan-related promotional films. The interactive display area also introduces the knowledge of environmental protection, preparation before the trip, safety, and medical care pertaining mountain climbing. There is also a Yushan VR room playing panoramic images of the trail of Mt. Jade Main Peak so that visitors can experience the scenery along the trail.

Audio-visual room broadcast program and schedule
