玉山國家公園楠溪永久樣區植物生態調查計畫-林緣之蔓藤植物社會

The plant ecological studies at the Nanhsi permanent plot in Yushan National Park – the vine community of forest edge

楠溪9.02公頃長期監測森林永久樣區是臺灣中海拔地區具有指標性代表意義之常綠闊葉林區,2008年計畫根據蔓藤調查標準程序執行B樣區闊葉林緣與臺灣赤楊林下樣區內蔓藤植物種類與分布的調查分析,共登錄14科17屬21種約1059株1302枝藤莖胸徑超過0.8cm以上的木質藤本植物,其中以衛矛科大葉南蛇藤佔35.87%、紫金牛科的賽山椒(佔15.21%)、胡椒科植物的風藤佔11.52%、蓼科的臺灣何首烏(佔7.83%)、芸香科藤花椒(佔5.76%)、薔薇科山薔薇(佔5.53%)、忍冬科大花忍冬(佔3.46%)為最常見的科別和種類,依重要值結果B樣區前4名的最優勢蔓藤為大葉南蛇藤為44.756的、賽山椒為11.995、風藤為6.397和山薔薇為6.344,以懸立型衛矛科大葉南蛇藤的數量特多且總胸高斷面積最大為本區中最優勢的種類代表。首次利用雙向列表分析結果提出中海拔闊葉林樣區林緣蔓藤植物社會分型,可區分為大葉南蛇藤-山薔薇、臺灣何首烏、光果南蛇藤、風藤及藤花椒-賽山椒等5類蔓藤植物社會型,本成果不僅補充蔓藤影像和基本資料,延續10公頃永久樣區的發展,並辦理保育研究成果與生態教育推廣活動,提供國家公園長期生態研究的基礎資料和經營管理參考。
英文摘要
The Nanhsi permanent forest dynamic plot of 9.02 hectare was established to integrate long-term monitoring the representative evergreen broad-leaved forest at the mid-altitude montane Taiwan. To set up a transaction zone through Nanhsi long-term monitoring plot, this 2008 project completed the inventory and recorded a total of 21 species of 17 genera in 14 families. Among them, only 1302 stems from 1059 vines, exceeding 0.8cm stem diameter, were used for survey and long-term monitoring. It resulted in the common vine species and families in B plot were Celastrus kusanoi Hayata (Celastraceae, 35.87%), Embelia lenticellata Hayata (Myrsinaceae, 15.21%) Piper kadsura (Choisy) Ohwi (Piperaceae, 11.52%), Polygonum multiflorum Thunb. var. hypoleucum (Ohwi) Liu, Ying & Lai (Polygonaceae, 11.52%), Zanthoxylum scandens Blume (Rutaceae, 5.76%), Rosa sambucina Koidz. (Rosaceae, 5.53%), Lonicera macrantha (D. Don) Spreng (Caprifoliaceae, 3.46%). The top 4 IV (=important value) as the dominant species were 44.756 of Celastrus kusanoi Hayata, 11.995 of Embelia lenticellata Hayata, 6.397 of Piper kadsura (Choisy) Ohwi, and 6.344 of Rosa sambucina Koidz. The suspending C. kusanoi with the great number and the largest basal area represented the most common and dominant species in B plot. TWINSPAN (= two-way indicator species analysis) results in 5 patterns of vine communities; i. e. C. kusanoi- R. sambucina, H. integrifolia, C. punctatus, P. kadsura and Zanthoxylum scandens-E. lenticellata. These results provide the sustaining studies in the ecology of vines, the important mission of long-term monitoring at the first large permanent plot at middle altitude of Taiwan, and also carried on the conservation research, eco-tourism guide and ecological education workshops. The fruitful, meaningful and important achievement accomplishes the long-term ecological research and National Park’s management.
