At an elevation of 3,785 meters, it is the second-highest peak in Central Mountain Range. Formerly known as Ulamong Mountain, its towering and majestic look makes it one of Taiwan's "Ten Peaks.” the peak is a turning point of the eastern and southern ridges of Central Mountain Range. There are cliffs to the east and south sides. The west side is a dense primary forest. In winter, it is covered with snow, making it a daunting task to climb for many climbers.
