Located at the southern foothills of the northern peak of Mt. Jade close by the river, it overlooks the east peak of Mt. Jade. The flat campground is a former site of Xingao Police Station built by Japanese back in the day.

Important Notes：
◎Visitors need to bring their own tents, sleeping mats and sleeping bags to the campground.
◎The campground has a maximum capacity of 24 people, but it may approve only 20 in the hiking days which have particular conditions.
◎The 3.2 K location (past Laonong cliffs) on the Batongguan trail by the northern saddle of Yushan have collapsed due to heavy rain, and there is no roadbed available.
