Entrance by Jinjing Bridge (Kuhanuoxin Mountain and Guan Mountain)

Departing from Kaohsiung or Taitung, visitors can take Provincial Highway 20 of Southern Cross-Island Highway to Jinjing Bridge to reach the trailhead.

Taguan Mountain Trailhead

Departing from Kaohsiung or Taitung, visitors can take Provincial Highway 20 of Southern Cross-Island Highway to Kuaigu and drive another 2 kilometers to reach the Taguan Mountain Trailhead.

Guanshanling Mountain Trailhead

By car

Departing from Kaohsiung or Taitung, visitors can take Provincial Highway 20 of Southern Cross-Island Highway to the east side of Daguanshan Tunnel to reach the trailhead to Guanshanling Mountain trailhead.

Important Notes

The trailheads to the Southern Cross-island Highway to the 3 Mountains and Guan Mountain Hiking Route are currently not accessible by public transportation.
The Meishankou–Xiangyang section of the Southern Cross-Island Highway opens from 07:00 to 14:00 on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and must be fully cleared by 17:00. It is closed all day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
