Located in the upstream of Laonong River below Xiuguping, it is a former gold mining site. There are waterfalls, creeks and ponds by the cabin, so the water source is sufficient and easy to access. The area is not too big.
Important Notes: ◎Those who choose to stay over in the cabin will need to bring their own accommodation gear and sleeping bags as the facility does not provide quilts. ◎Visitors need to bring their own tents, sleeping mats and sleeping bags to the campground. ◎The front part of the foundation of Baiyang Mine Cabin has shown continuous soil erosion. The Administrative Office has conducted simple repairs. However, construction in the mountain area is not easy. Visitors need to have extra precautions when traveling to spots where the land condition is soft. Please notify the Administrative Office (Tataka Office at 049-2702200 and the Yushan National Park Headquarters at 049-2773121) if you find that the foundation shows continuous soil erosion.
