Road conditions

On the Southern Cross-Island Highway, Provincial Highway No. 20 (Temporary Route 105), from 0K to 44K (Meishankou–Xiangyang section), the road is closed to traffic every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

The road is open to traffic from Friday to Monday. Entry is permitted daily from 07:00 to 14:00, and all vehicles must exit the controlled section before 17:00.

Provincial Highway No. 21 from 110K to 144K (Caopingtou–Tataka section) is closed to traffic daily from 17:30 to 07:00 the following day, and reopened at 07:00 each morning.

For the newly constructed rock shed tunnel at 132K on Provincial Highway No. 21, from January 20, 2026 to October 30, 2026, traffic control will be implemented daily from 08:00 to 17:00, with traffic released once every hour (each release lasting 10 minutes). Traffic control will not be enforced on consecutive holidays or daily from 12:00 to 13:00.
