The elevation is about 1,320 meters. There are remains of the police station, school, ammunition depot, and others. It also used to be a settlement for the Bunun tribal people. The land is vast, with river terrace and stream landscapes. There are a lot of animals in the area, making it an important place to study wildlife. There is also a mountain cabin.
