After the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that hit Hualien on April 3, 2024, there are still continuous aftershocks. The trail conditions are not stable with risks of falling stones, collapses, roadblocks, etc. It is suggested to avoid entering the park during this period.

【Paiyun Lodge Refund Deadline】
For visitors who stay at Paiyun Lodge between April 3 and 30, it is possible to ask for a refund after canceling applications online. For those who enter the park after and including May 1, please cancel the application in advance. If the application is canceled at least 14 days before the hike, visitors are eligible to ask for a refund.

【Make Sure to Check-in and Online Check-out】
To provide an accurate number of visitors entering the restricted area of the park, all visitors are required to read the check-in reminder email and, on the hiking day, have the park permit and passports checked at the designated places (Paiyun Mountaineering Center, Dongpu Information Center, Nanan Visitor Center, and Meishan Visitor Center). After the hike, please check-out “HOME >> Online Application >> National Park Leaving Park Report Back”

If you encounter any obstacles during the hike, please take the same way out. For your safety, do not force yourself to pass the path. If you want to report any roadblocks or facility damage, please contact us via mailbox.
