The Nanan Visitor Center is located in Jhuoxi Township, Hualien County. In the Exhibition Room of the Visitor Center, displays and explanation pamphlets are provided for Formosan Black Bear, Bunun tribe, and ecological resources of the Yushan National Park. Moreover, the audiovisual room regularly plays introductory films about the Yushan National Park. A visit to the Nanan Visitor Center will help to gain fundamental knowledge about the Yushan National Park.

The rice fields outside the Nanan Visitor Center are cultivated by neighboring aboriginals from the Nanan tribe with organic methods non-contaminant to the environment. Whether in the stage of planting rice seedlings, rice growing, and maturity, visitors can enjoy the various sceneries of beauty from the rice fields.
