The Yushan National Park was named after “Mt. Jade” and the entire Park contains a third of famous mountains throughout Taiwan. All mountains in the Park are favorites to domestic hikers; even the foreign hikers are attracted to them!

The Yushan National Park is the largest national park in terms of land area over Taiwan. Located in the central area of Taiwan’s main island with a unique geographical position that provides mysterious peaks of magnificent views, the Park becomes one of the few regions that preserve primitive landscape over high mountains in Taiwan. Among them, Mt. Jade’s main peak is the highest peak in Taiwan at an altitude of 3952m.
