At an elevation of 3,331 meters, it is the highest peak on the east side of Taiwan and one of Taiwan's "Ten Peaks.” The mountain runs in a north-south direction. It is towering with an abrupt and steep terrain shaped like a screen. It looks like a sky fortress from the west. Known as the "Humongous on Eastern Taiwan," the nearby ridges have many turns and splits.
