Taiping Valley (outside the park)

At an elevation of about 2,620 meters, it is the origin of Taiping River. It is a U-shaped valley running east-west formed by the main, southern, and northern peaks of Kaxipanan Mountain. The valley is flat and wide. There is a dry stream with short Mt. Jade cane. It has the topography of both mountain river origin and cirque.
