Introduction

Trail distance The total distance is about 1.1 kilometers.

The trail between the trailhead of Dongpu and Yunlong Waterfall is the western section of Batongguan Traversing Trail and is about 4.5 kilometers long. Along the way, visitors can appreciate the left bank of the Shalixian Creek terrace, V-shaped valley of Chenyoulan River, Father-Son Cliff, and the three-tiered Yunlong waterfall. The geographic landscape is exciting. Due to geological defragmentation, visitors are advised to walk the trail slowly. There are many birds and butterflies along the way. Thrushes such as Taiwan scimitar babbler, grey-cheeked fulvetta, rufous-capped babbler, and Taiwan yuhina add more audio enjoyment to the trip. The vegetation is composed of broadleaf forest, and there are quercus glauca, black dye tree, carpinus kawakamii, Taiwan Gordonia, Hairy Bridal Wreath Spiraea, Red-hairy Rhododendron and Taiwan giant reed adding surprises in different seasons to the trail.

# The trail enters the "Ecological Protection Area" after passing Yunlong Waterfall, and permits need to be obtained in advance for entry.
