Guanshan is located at the 131.4 K spot of New Central Cross-island Highway, Provincial Highway 21, and the elevation is at about 1,900 meters. Many cherry trees are planted in the parking lot area. At the turn of winter and spring, when the flowers are blooming and the trees are bearing fruits, many birds come to have a feast. It is the best spot for flower viewing and bird watching. Guanshan is named for its grand view of Yushan peaks within sight to the southeast. The Administrative Office has placed trace fossils discovered by the students and teachers from Taoyuan Municipal Wu-Ling Senior High School at the 129.7 K spot on July 23, 2019 on the grass slopes of the parking lot.

◎Parking lot and cooking areas available.
◎Respect nature. Do not feed wild animals as it is a violation of the law.
◎Visitors shall stay alert and avoid getting close to spots that have warning signs.
◎As the elevation increases, the direction going to Tataka may have clouds and fog drifting between and blocking valleys. Drivers need to slow down when there is fog.
