Lulin Mountain has an elevation of 2,845 meters. It overlooks the southern section of Central Mountain Range to the south where the pyramid-like Gushan is located at, and the Jade Mountain to the east-northeast. There are a few depressions near the top of the mountain which become water ponds during the rainy season to attract animals.
